In April 2019 Prof. Nick Gill gave a talk at the Global Studies workshop “How the Asylum Process Works. Political and Legal Mechanisms” at Università degli Studi di Urbino Carlo Bo (Urbino, Italy). The talk had the title “Fantasies of Refugee Law and Governance: Critical Geographical Perspectives on Asylum Determination in Europe“.
